The Kitakyushu Children's Library was opened in 2018 for children age 18 and under.
A variety of creative ideas are used to stimulate interest in books and the joy of reading, including picture books and maps from around the world, an area for rediscovering the region, a children's literature area featuring local authors, and photo spots.
