Surfing and windsurfing can be enjoyed at Iwaya Beach, and fishing can be enjoyed at the fishing pier.
Plus, Waita Beach has some of the best water in Fukuoka Prefecture and is a known spot where sea turtles lay eggs.
Next door is the “Shioiri no Sato” Fisherman’s Wharf, featuring fresh seafood and vegetables are for sale.
