Yamada Park is in an area which was used as an ammunition dump during the war. For over half a century it was a restricted area, leaving the nature untouched by human hands. Strolling through the park the expressions of the trees and flowers which change with the seasons calms the senses, and you may even come across a wild boar, badger or rabbit. You can see over 100 species of birds, and a bird-watching event is held on the second Sunday of the month. Listen to the birds singing. The two-hectare-wide grass square is full of families on the weekend. Bring a picnic lunch and relax!
