This park is recommended for viewing spring flowers, such as the cherry blossom trees and large azalea garden.
A panoramic view of Dokai Bay, Mt. Sarakura, and the urban area is provided from the observation tower in the center of the park that is a monument modeled after the blast furnace from former Yawata Steel Works.
